Edge Logo Animation
As part of the ongoing brand unification effort, we as the Marketing Design / Creative team at Edge Servicing wanted to create an animated logo outro and gif for use on all video content. This bumper will be used across multiple channels, so we spent a lot of time on research and storyboarding.
Our goal was to feature different services offered by Edge while creating a modern and energetic personality. Under the direction of John Morrey, Edge's senior graphic designer, I created multiple storyboard iterations of the outro before we moved on to animation. The final version of the storyboard is viewable to the right of this paragraph as a gif.
As I began animating, we stuck to the boards as much as they served us, but ultimately design changes had to be made to create simplicity and clarity. After I finalized the full-length outro, I created a short outro for specific services. You can view both of them by checking out the gallery below.
